From Jennie Jackson, Walk In On Ranch:
Just waking up from returning from the Three Phase Event Competition in BEAUTIFUL Winchester, KY...to say it was wonderful would truly be an understatement...
And what made this IMO work so well, was that there was no dominate breed of horse, rather it was the different classification of skills of the horse and rider...from Beginning Novice to Preliminary horse and riders...a full scale of a place tailor made for the horse and rider…
...the ambiance was exciting, everybody enjoying, cheering for each other, helping out and what I really sensed was LAUGHTER...lots and lots of laughter at ourselves and others...bad because you
The professionalism at which this was conducted was top drawer...many dignitaries coming in, watching, learning and talking to people...both from the political arena to the BIG...traditional breeds that do this kind of discipline...and the sense I got was when observed all of this was “Why Not?...that works”
As gaited breeds we have asked for a place at the table in this discipline and I sensed...it was very well received by the status quo breeds…
...but I sensed a very fair and open minded group of directors owing to only putting on the best event for the people...

From April Cuthbertson– Black Magic Saddlebreds:
After a year of talking about it we actually make it….however I was nowhere near prepared for what I walked into. As we drove into the show grounds I laid eyes on what could quite possibly be the most amazing trail course I had ever seen! After unloading the horses on Friday, my Mom and I got to exhibit both horses in the parade of breeds...It was really cool to see all the different gaited horses that come out to the show. After the show (on Saturday) I went and walked the cross country course… apparently I never took “the hills of Kentucky” to heart. The course was 3.78 miles...It was so much fun. By the end of the show I was convinced the competitive trail riding was my mares new calling! Lol. I honestly can’t say enough about this show.

From the Stoner Ridge Farm:
Our group had a great time at the Three Phase Event… The Three Phase Event is a unique venue for our gaited horse...Not only does the event draw attention to the talent of our horses, it provides recognition of the rider’s horsemanship and communication skills with their equine partner. For our juvenile rider, 12 year old Lauren Hickey, it was the first time to compete in dressage, stadium obstacle, and cross county...Lauren place first in both dressage and stadium...She went on to win her juvenile division but was already looking forward to learning more in order to improve her skill and scores next year.
