(ACTHA) American Competitive Trail Horse Association

World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry`s Ride Proclamation for-

TPE Competitive Trail Challenge - Winchester, KYApril 17, 2010

Howdy Folks,

Kevin Kiper, Diana Wright and volunteers from Three Phase Event inc. are invitin` you to a shindig they`re throwin` at the Kentucky Equestrian Center. Yes Sir, they`ve put together an American Competitive Trail Horse Assoc. sanctioned Competitive Trail Challenge.

ACTHA sanctions Competitive Trail Challenges all across the USA - easy going six to ten mile rides with a few obstacles mixed in to test your horse communicatin` skills. Riders and horses are judged as they tackle each obstacle. You can win fistfuls of ACTHA Bucks and other first-rate prizes on ride day - And pile up ACTHA points for you and your horse toward, Year End National and Regional Awards and cash!

With over 300 ACTHA rides scheduled for 2010, point buildin` will be a cinch! Check out ACTHA at www.actha.us to learn more - like the fact that last year ACTHA has donated over $100,000 to horse rescues and charities!

The fun starts Friday night with a Pot-Luck campfire, (Kevin will bring the hot dogs), where you can visit with old friends and make a few new ones. Diana says if you have a guitar, fiddle, or banjo bring it and help make a little music. There`s plenty of primitive camping or if you`d rather, there`s RV hook-ups and stalls. Call Diana to reserve. Breakfast and burnt coffee will be available at 9AM Sat. at the Ride Headquarters Stall. Ride Briefing at 9AM-Ride out at 10A. – Be sure to sign up for the Poker Run. And wear your best duds because there are special prizes for the best dressed Gal and Guy. Best groomed/dressed horse and dog gets a prize too!

Kevin`s mapped out a ten mile loop over beautiful trails through the mature Oaks, Poplars and Cedars for this CTC with six natural obstacles. You`ll enjoy a few hills, tiptoe over the rocky cliffs, and cross a stream or two. When you ride into camp, tend your horse, grab your eatin` utensils and hustle over to the Ride Headquarters Stall, where you can restock your calories. While the Judges calculate everybody`s score totals gather around the bonfire and sing along to the music. Then brag a little about what a fine job your horse did – makin` you look great. No need to pull up stakes after the awards, hang around the fire and make plans to attend the next CTC.

Folks this is a fund raiser for Three Phase Event Inc. – a charitable and educational outfit that does a whole lot of good for yougin`s and adults alike. Check them out on the web at www.threephaseevent.org  and make plans to attend their summer, Three Phase Event here in May.

Well by golly, I reckon this sounds like a get-together you don`t want to miss! Call a few friends, brush your horse, load your rig and set out for the Kentucky Equestrian Center for a high time you`ll be talkin` about for a long time!

For all the specifics about this ride call Diana Wright 859-230-9540.

Gitty Up!
