T.E.D. Training, Education and Development At the end of 2007, the Three Phase Event, Inc, became a non profit, 501c3 organization, with a full board of directors, a mission statement and the beginnings of a diverse education based program, called T.E.D. The Training, Education and Development program works for all from the age of 13 through our now “baby boomers”. Helping to get our young riders trained properly in interests of becoming better riders and better partners with their horses, through natural horsemanship clinics, to show training in equitation and showmanship. The same goes for our older generations coming back to riding after years of raising children and working. Their goal is to tweek their skills and get familiar with trail riding and even tackling the show ring. For those wanting a equestrian related career, we offer scholarships to those attending institutions of higher learning and related trade schools of equine programs such as farrier and dental schools. Funding for this objective is done through sponsorships, grants and the Three Phase Event National competition. In order to achieve our goals and improve the performance of these horses and riders, the Three Phase Event, inc. has a goal of offering the following annual awards from our T.E.D. program:
2. Scholarships for adults 18 and above with nationally recognized horsemanship trainers;
3. Scholarships for adults 18 and over with nationally recognized horsemanship trainers, United States Eventing Associations’ trainers and selected clinicians;Funding to assist program development for soft gaited horses in institutions of higher learning offering equestrian courses;
4. Scholarships for students attending academic and professional schools. |
